It's garlic harvest time of year – and with it comes the delicious flowering buds at the top – the garlic scapes. You have to love garlic to love this – but it's a delicious, immune boosting pesto variation that I enjoy annually!
The Great “Scape” PestoPrint Recipe
- Food processor
- 15 garlic scapes
- 1/2 cup of pine nuts
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4-1/2 cup olive oil depending on how creamy you like your pesto
- Sea salt to taste not much because parmesan is salty
- Process until smooth. Enjoy.
