Aviva, this was a great show! I listened with the intention of passing it along to my 11 year old, but I am not sure how relevant it would be for her (for example, as far as I know, she has nothing but positive feelings about her body and would be horrified to learn of the possibility of plastic surgery, etc). She and I would so appreciate a companion episode geared towards teenagers, especially one which could address their unique concerns-- irregular cycles, possible tampon/menstrual cup challenges, differing rates of maturation. I am very open with her about my own cycles, have explained FAM, and have given her good books to read- she is open to talking with me, but I am somewhat stymied by my own lack of knowledge and hazy memory of my own teenage years! Thank you for all you do! I am off to listen to your new birth story podcast!
