For more than 30 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside mothers and their newborn babies during one of the most life-changing seasons of their lives. As a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), my life’s work has been devoted to nurturing, educating, and supporting families with compassion, kindness, and care.
After 25 years in the hospital setting, in 2022, I founded motherbaby holistic nursing, inc. (a holistic lactation private practice) with a vision of providing the personalized, unrushed lactation support that every family deserves. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where parents feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and the beautiful, sometimes overwhelming, journey into parenthood.
I believe that every mother and baby have a unique story. Whether I’m helping a newborn achieve an optimal latch, supporting a mother through breastfeeding challenges, preparing expectant parents for their baby’s arrival, or exploring the root causes of maternal and infant concerns such as low milk supply, breast or nipple pain, infant oral ties, body tension, reflux, fussiness, rashes, and much more, I meet each family where they are. Together, we create thoughtful, individualized plans that honor both science and the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive.
As a Functional Medicine Nurse, I take a holistic approach that looks deeper and asks why. I believe nutrition, rest, lifestyle, and emotional well-being all play essential roles in the health of both mother and baby.
My approach is gentle, nurturing, and deeply rooted in listening. I want to hear your story. I believe mothers need someone who will stand beside them with knowledge, encouragement, and genuine compassion. It brings me incredible joy to watch families grow in confidence, find peace during challenging moments, and experience the connection they long for with their babies.
Supporting mothers and babies has never been just my career—it is truly my calling. Every family I meet reminds me why I love this work, and it is an honor to be part of their journey.
