I’m Heidi, a Certified Nurse-Midwife, honored to have had 20 years of experience supporting thousands of women going through vital life transitions including adolescence, pregnancy & birth, and menopause. I’m certified as a Menopause Practitioner by the Menopause Society and a graduate of Aviva Romm's Women’s Integrative & Functional Medicine Professional Training Program.

Now, in my own “Second Spring,” I find older women are particularly fascinating. We are accomplished, wise (each in our own way), and juggling many balls in the air with careers, partners, children, parents, friends, and community. We’ve been through some challenging times and have battle scars to show for it (some on our bodies and some in our hearts). We experience many physical changes, but lots of us have felt invisible, with little information about what is happening or what might be helpful. We may “power through” just fine (because we are awesome!), but we know there must be a better way. We want to prioritize our health, but sometimes don’t even know where to start.

I believe that health and wellness is a journey. Midwife means “with woman,” and as a certified nurse-midwife (CNM), it is my honor to walk WITH you on your path, giving you in-depth information about the changes in your body (and mind and mood!), recommendations (and orders) for lab testing or imaging, and evidence-based options to address perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms as well as their root causes. Together we’ll create a personalized treatment plan based on your unique situation and weave in the best of women's wisdom and modern medicine so that you have a wide range of options to consider as you chart your path through perimenopause and menopause.
