PMOS: The 5-Root Cause Approach to Healing
Join me in changing how we treat PMOS
September 2, 2026 | 7-9PM ET
PCOS is now PMOS — and the name change matters more than you think. At least 1 in 8 women have it, and up to 70% are never diagnosed, because for decades we were looking for the wrong thing.
Join Aviva Romm, MD — board-certified physician, midwife, herbalist, bestselling author — for this FREE practitioner webinar on the root causes driving PMOS and what actually helps women heal.
Why is this So Important?
PMOS, formerly PCOS, is the most common hormone condition in women — at least 1 in 8 — and up to 70% of the women who have it are never diagnosed. For decades, we were looking for the wrong thing: the “polycystic” in PCOS sent everyone hunting for a string of cysts on an ultrasound that most women with the condition don’t actually have. So women were told, again and again, that their labs were “normal” and nothing was wrong… while their symptoms told a very different story.
The truth is this was never really just about the ovaries. That’s why the name is changing to PMOS — a name that finally reflects what it actually is: a whole-body, metabolic, multi-system condition. But here’s what medicine still isn’t getting: renaming it changes nothing if we keep treating it the same way. The Pill, metformin, and “just eat better and lose weight” don’t address what’s actually driving PMOS — and they don’t fit the many women with PMOS who aren’t overweight at all.
When we treat PMOS at its roots (blood sugar and insulin, the gut, the mitochondria, the stress response, and the body’s toxic burden) and rebalance hormones from there, women don’t just manage symptoms. They get their health, their fertility, and their lives back.
That’s the approach I’ll walk you through in this free webinar, and it’s exactly what your patients have been waiting for someone to offer them.
What You'll Learn
- Why "PCOS" became PMOS — and why the rename changes everything about how we treat it.
- The metabolic root: insulin resistance and blood sugar as the driver at the center of PMOS — including in lean, "normal-weight" women.
- The gut–hormone connection, and why gut health is one of the most overlooked keys to reversing PMOS.
- Mitochondria, energy, and egg health — the root that quietly shapes fertility and metabolism.
- The stress (HPA) axis and body burden — the roots hiding in plain sight, and how everyday toxins and chronic stress keep PMOS locked in
- What actually works: the root-cause nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle protocols that help women heal — and where conventional care falls short.
Who Should Attend?
