By checking the Terms and Conditions box on the order form, you agree to the Policies and Terms of Service for the Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program. This is a requirement of enrollment, before your deposit can be accepted.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The Women’s Integrative Medicine Institute/The New Medicine for Women Institute reserves the right to accept or decline any student, without explanation. Please note that this is a woman-led, woman-student program.
YOUR ENROLLMENT
We are committed to providing all participants with a positive experience. Thus, Aviva Romm Enterprises, d/b/a The Women’s Integrative Medicine Institute/The New Medicine for Women Institute may, at its sole discretion, limit, suspend, or terminate your participation in any of its programs, live, recorded, social media-based or digital without refund if:
- you do not follow the program guidelines;
- you disrupt the participation of our instructors or participants in our program(s);
- it is deemed you are not meeting the professional standards expected of students/future graduates of this program
You hereby acknowledge and agree that:
- The Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program is not intended as a substitute for, or in lieu of, other health and wellness training, certification, accreditation and/or licensing.
- Your participation in the Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program is not a substitute for any licensing requirements that may be applicable to you and does not independently authorize you to render care, prescribe regimens or prescribe medications or supplements.
- Your activities in the health and wellness field remain subject to your education, qualifications, scope, and licensure.
- Program content is for personal use only, and may not be sold, recorded, videotaped, shared, taught, given away, or otherwise divulged without the express written consent of Company, or its designated agent. Doing so may result in dismissal from the class, or revocation of your graduate status.
TUITION
Tuition for this program is $9,700 when paid in full, or $10,500 with the payment plan. There are 2 options for paying tuition:
- FULL PAYMENT OPTION: A deposit of $2,000, then payment of $7,700 by September 23, 2022. Total cost (with no discounts applied) = $9,700
- PAYMENT PLAN OPTION: A deposit of $2,000, then payment of the balance in 8 equal monthly payments on the 23rd of each month, beginning in September, 2022. Total cost (with no discounts applied) = $10,500
- Spaces in the program are limited and will be filled on the basis of payment of deposit, in order of receipt.
FEES
All fees are to be paid in US dollars. The Institute accepts most major bank cards and checks. Checks should be made payable to Aviva Romm Enterprises.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
You may withdraw your enrollment up until 21 days prior to the start date of the program. If you withdraw you will be given a refund of any amount you’ve paid minus your deposit of $2,000, which is non-refundable. After this time, no refunds will be issued.
We understand that personal and family emergencies can occur during a student’s time of enrollment that might prevent completion of the course within the allotted 16 months. Requests for deferment will be considered on an individual basis, by petition to the Course Director. Deferment is available only for the next two academic years of the program. The cost for deferment to the following class is $2,500; the cost for a deferment to a second year is $3,500. Any student granted a deferment must retake the entire program from the beginning.
If you withdraw at any time during the program, full payment is still due, as once registration closes, we cannot give your spot to another student.
COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All of the content and original concepts and plans in the Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program as well as Aviva Romm’s name and likeness are copyrighted by and are the sole property of Aviva Romm, MD.
Access to the course materials and course website are exclusively for the use of students enrolled in the program. You may not share your log-in to the course website with anyone else, and course materials cannot be sold, traded, or transferred to anyone else. Doing so will result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund, and any outstanding payments will still be due. Your use of, and access to the Program Materials is on a licensed basis. In that regard, during your enrollment, Company hereby grants to you, and you hereby accept, the non-exclusive, right, license and privilege to use (but not sublicense or own) the Program Materials across all devices.
You agree not to reproduce any materials or to use course materials in any capacity other than personal study, without permission from Aviva Romm/Aviva Romm Enterprises, with the exception of materials in this program that have been designated as reproducible solely for use in your practice.
Students agree not to create private Facebook pages, study groups, or other private resources for study or networking without permission from Aviva Romm/Aviva Romm Enterprises/The Women’s Integrative Medicine Institute/The New Medicine for Women Institute.
In registering for this program you are agreeing that for 5 years after enrolling you will not create any online or onsite training program in women’s integrative or functional medicine based upon or in competition with this program or related programs offered by Aviva Romm Enterprises.
Company shall have and hereby reserves all rights and remedies which it has, or which are granted to it by operation of law, to enjoin the unlawful or unauthorized use of the Program Material (any of which injunctive relief may be sought in the courts, and also may be sought prior to or in lieu of termination), and to be compensated for damages for breach of this Agreement.
GENERAL POLICIES
The Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program, the videos, mp3 audio, transcripts and all content in the program is for educational purposes only.
This course does not substitute for clinical experience under the supervision and guidance of an experienced practitioner. Participation in or completion of this program in no way confers the right or ability to practice any form of health care nor to practice outside of your designated professional scope of practice.
Neither this program nor any of its owners or staff are responsible for any outcomes associated with the use of the information contained in the course.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account on the course website, and are responsible for all activities (whether by you or others) that occur under your password or account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and to ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.
You may not represent yourself as a graduate of this program or as having studied with Aviva Romm, until you have received a certificate of completion, after which time you may say that you have completed this program and use the graduate seal on your website.
You grant permission to Aviva Romm Enterprises to use, reproduce, and display any testimonial you provide about your experience in this program on their website and in other promotional materials.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Program materials are continually updated and under development and The Women’s Integrative Medicine Institute/The New Medicine for Women Institute makes no warranty of any kind, implied or express, as to its accuracy, completeness or appropriateness for any purpose.
The Women’s Integrative Medicine Institute/The New Medicine for Women Institute offers health, wellness, fitness and nutritional information and is designed for educational purposes only. You should not rely on this information as a substitute for, nor does it replace, professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any concerns or questions about your health, you should always consult with a physician or other health-care professional. Do not disregard, avoid or delay obtaining medical or health related advice from your health-care professional because of something you may have read in the program materials. The use of any information provided in the program materials is solely at your own risk.
You agree to at all times defend, indemnify and hold harmless The New Medicine for Women Institute/Women’s Integrative Medicine Institute its affiliates, their successors, transferees, assignees and licensees and their respective parent and subsidiary companies, agents, associates, officers, directors, shareholders and employees of each from and against any and all claims, causes of action, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including legal fees and expenses, arising out of or related to (i) your use of any information contained in the Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training Program, and (ii) your breach of any warranty, representation or covenant in this Agreement.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
All disputes arising under or concerning this Agreement are to be submitted to binding arbitration, in West Stockbridge, MA, to be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
You may only resolve disputes with us on an individual basis, and may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations aren’t allowed.
The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding or claims (such as a class action, consolidated action or private attorney general action) unless all relevant parties specifically agree to do so following initiation of the arbitration.
