DESCRIPTION
As the Director of Growth Marketing and Digital Communications, you’ll be part of reinventing the future of women’s health and healthcare, working in partnership with the Founder to grow Aviva’s Women’s Health through generating, building, and guiding our strategic direction, including identifying best areas for growth, and translating goals into projects – and success.
You’ll implement a comprehensive product growth and marketing strategy that increases brand awareness, invites in new customers, inspires and retains current customers, drives web and social traffic, nourishes customer engagement, and drives growth and conversion – ultimately changing women’s lives while increasing brand loyalty and monetization.
We have a strong belief in reciprocity – our marketing strategy is based on delivering the highest-value content across our platforms and in many formats that lead to sales of online educational programs. This cross-functional role will work to grow our brand across all channels through storytelling, partnerships, and brand awareness.
We’re looking for someone who is hard-working, has a passion for women’s health, and wants to drive high-impact results establishing Aviva Women’s Health as the leading respected site and content for women’s hormonal and reproductive health and wellness.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with the Founder to audit and scale existing channels and develop new opportunities for growth
- Create data-driven, goal-oriented strategies for content production and all marketing initiatives.
- Develop and manage product launches and consumer experiences that exceed high-level business goals while always maintaining company integrity and ethos.
- Optimize retention opportunities across the customer journey, including product development, sales, and customer satisfaction
- Ideate and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that’s aligned with company goals and is tailored to engage, entertain, and convert our audience into happy customers
- Make strategic decisions and implement marketing strategy as it relates to web design, landing pages, content marketing, product development, pricing, offers, emails, hooks, headlines, and all copywriting.
- Strategize and execute key marketing copy: emails, funnels, ads, landing pages, social media
- Plan and maintain our marketing, promotional, and email calendar
- Write copy, develop assets and ensure these are written, approved and implemented in a timely manner consistent with marketing calendar
- Create and write emails for new funnels, as well as refreshing and maintaining existing funnel copy
- Work with Social Media Manager on developing copy/assets for marketing on social media
- Expand and maintain strategic partnerships
- Manage ads across all channels
- Partner with editorial and creative team to develop strong, on-brand content and messaging for ads
- Own budgeting, reporting, and optimization of paid traffic
- Audit and optimize all marketing efforts around email, website performance, content and social engagement, SEO, and paid media.
- Develop and monitor brand metrics and KPIs to forecast, track, and analyze marketing initiatives to ensure we exceed performance targets
- Report weekly traffic, marketing, and sales performance across the business
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in digital marketing
- A keen understanding of the women’s wellness market and women’s lifestyle brands and trends,
- Passion for Aviva Women’s Health mission and work
- A keen ability to listen to our audience, customers, and trends, and pivot as needed for the greater needs of the business and audience
- Highly developed writing and verbal skills, with experience delivering compelling, specific messaging for each stage of the audience journey from website to social media to emails to programs, creating an engaging customer experience with bottom-line results
- Skill in developing and executing high-level, effective integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, loyalty, and conversions through best in class content and products.
- Skill in marketing on social media platforms including, for example, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
- Experience with metrics-driven campaigns – reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data & optimizing creative accordingly
- Experience with platforms relevant to growth and marketing
- A project management guru who can juggle multiple projects and multiple teams simultaneously, with minimal supervision
- An innately hard worker with a deeply curious personality, a growth mindset, and an aversion to typos
Compensation

Job Description
Aviva Romm is looking for a Chief Content Officer to take the lead on our digital media creation and multi-channel publication of the our content (text, video, audio, animation, etc).
Our Chief Content Officer will grow and beautifully represent our online content offerings across our platforms, create content that informs, inspires, moves, and transforms women’s health and lives, and connects us to a broader audience who will benefit from our mission. As Chief Content Officer, you’ll be part of a company reinventing the future of women’s health and healthcare.
Bringing our brand’s goals to life and rising above the noise in the women’s health and wellness space is key, and we seek someone who can connect the dots and find that delicate balance between content, audience needs, conversion, and monetization.
And it's not just words. We’re looking for an experienced, creative, innovative and self-starting writer and content strategist who can deeply and compassionately understand our audience’s needs and pain points, identify the best areas for growth, foresee trends, pivot with ease and grace in a rapidly growing but very small company, and be ready to roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running on day one.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Design and implement a people first, on-brand content roadmap that supports our audiences across their entire journey resonating with their needs and wants across our platform, channels, and verticals and converts audience to ongoing customers.
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute overall content/editorial strategies and an editorial calendar to include articles, newsletters, course content, podcast content needs, and social media captions,
- Build out key systems and infrastructures that support our editorial and marketing efforts
- Conduct content audits to understand and fill needs for new content and existing assets that can be repurposed
- Drive revenue by advancing the Aviva Romm brand and telling stories that inspire
- Oversee content measurement and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed
- Partner with design team to make sure all content is accurately and beautifully visually represented in a brand consistent manner
- Manage the distribution of content across all channels and effective methods for archiving and retrieving content
- Manage a small team of freelance writers and our social media team
About You
- A Bachelor’s degree or greater in health or science journalism and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in health writing and editing for consumers and ‘prosumers’
- Research and writing skills that will allow you to create the highest level of evidence-based research at the level expected of this brand and an M.D.
- A high level of organization, project management skills, and a keen eye for detail, as in, you get nervous submitting any work that hasn’t been triple checked for errors.
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute overall content/editorial strategies, create and manage an editorial calendar, and a proven track record in multichannel content creation
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute overall content/editorial strategies and an editorial calendar to include articles, newsletters, course content, podcast content needs, and social media captions

The Job Description
Aviva Romm is seeking a Social Media Manager to develop and execute innovative social media strategies to drive brand love, engagement and revenue. The ideal candidate has experience in digital strategy, brand marketing, loves social media, has boundless curiosity, and is passionate about women's health – and detail. In this role, you'll handle all daily management across our social channels, and be the main point of contact for our social communities and social partnerships.
Our Social Media Manager will be responsible for bringing our brand mission and vision to life through compelling social media strategy, visual and written storytelling and dynamic interactions across our digital ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Develop social media strategy
- Develop and execute organic social media strategies that drive engagement and growth, and align with strategic campaigns
- Build our social growth robustly across existing channels and grow new and in process channels
- Create and maintain a monthly social calendar with content aligned to brand vision and marketing calendar
- Work with marketing to interpret brand needs to create digital marketing assets and plan for product launches, program launches and projects in a timely and accurate way
- Conduct ongoing research projects on key industry trends and create monthly competitive content insights report and leverage findings into the development and execution of new ideas and innovations
- Create an evolving strategy for amplifying the Aviva Romm MD brand across all internal social media ecosystems, ensuring brand consistency, a positive audience experience, high engagement, growth, and conversion to paid customers
- Manage daily posting schedule and content:
- Conceptualize and create engaging, shareable, on-brand original social content across our social channels (IG, TikTok, YouTube, FB, Twitter, Pinterest), both batched and in real-time as needed
- Execute day-to-day design of images, videos, GIFs and researched captions as appropriate across our social media platforms
- Meticulously proof and post social media copy to appropriate social media channels
- Ideate, plan, and implement live events on social media, contests, giveaways, and other best practices that lead to increased website and social media traffic and engagement by reaching a wider audience with material relevant to our current audience, and to draw in new viewers
- Source visual content (UGC, photo, video, gifs) that reflects the Aviva Romm MD brand, vision, and goals
- Utilize social media as a revenue generating channel, when possible optimizing content and posts to drive conversions on avivaromm.com
- Use data and insights, along with research and competitor data, to inform strategy and content development, providing monthly social performance reporting
- Maintain organized archives of all content
- Drop published stories into Story profile highlights
- Manage Community Engagement:
- Manage all community engagement and communication across all social platforms within 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- Respond to DMs, social media inquiries, messages, and mentions in a timely manner and one that is on-brand and always respectful of the brand’s unique guidelines
- Share user generated content as appropriate, daily
- Archive audience comments and feedback for brand insights and new product/content ideas
- Generate and manage social media collaborations
- Expand collaborative social media relationships, work with influencers and external brand partners to scale our reach
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management across social media platforms to include events, sponsorship opportunities, giveaways, and more
- Identify and source opportunities through inbound leads and outbound requests

About YOU
- 3-5 years of professional social media experience including social media strategy with proven ability growing social engagement
- Excellent writing, copyediting and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

- Creative thinker with a strong visual eye
- Talent for creating conversational, shareable content, and ability to translate complex heath concepts into easy-to-understand communication pieces
- Expert knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Analytical skills, facility with Google Analytics, tagging, and comfort in learning new systems and platforms
- Proficiency with Later, Canva, and video editing skills
- Ability to respond to community messages and requests quickly, daily, and in a brand appropriate way
