Social Media Manager
Are you a creative storyteller and strategist who loves the world of social media? Do you want your work to make a meaningful impact on women’s health and empowerment? If so, we want you to be our next Social Media Manager.
At Aviva Romm Enterprises, our social media content reaches between 3–7 million people each month. We’re on a mission to expand this exponentially as we shift the narrative around women’s health—covering everything from hormonal and maternal health to perimenopause and menopause. We’re looking for a passionate individual to take our digital presence to the next level.
Location/Hours: This is a fully remote, part-time role both synchronous and asynchronous, up to 25 hours per week for an independent contractor. Must be US-based; EST location preferred.
Compensation: $35–$55/hour, commensurate with experience and skill.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the driving force behind our social platforms cultivating a vibrant community and creating content that resonates, engages, and converts.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies that bring women aha moments, while growing our community, deepening engagement, and driving revenue with clear goals for growth in all areas
- Create, maintain, and fully implement a monthly social content calendar that aligns with these goals and our brand ethos
- Conceptualize, write, and produce compelling, original content—from daily posts and captions to stories, videos, and creative campaigns
- Maintain phenomenal and ongoing awareness of trends and important breaking content in women’s health that can be translated into our brand content – including immediate ‘news’ level content, and have the flexibility to pivot as needed to create and post this
- Curate user-generated content, identify appropriate resposts, and manage a well-organized content library
- Oversee and deeply engage in community interactions: respond to DMs, comments, inquiries, and mentions with warmth and professionalism
- Leverage analytics, insights, and trend-spotting to continually optimize performance and growth
- Build relationships with partners and collaborators through IG collaborations, takeovers, IG Lives, events, and giveaways
The Work
You will be instrumental in expanding our community, deepening engagement, and driving revenue. Your work will directly contribute to delivering “aha moments” to women through innovative strategies and compelling content.
- Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute innovative social media strategies with clear goals for growth in community, engagement, and revenue
- Content Calendar: Create, maintain, and fully implement a monthly social content calendar that aligns with our brand ethos and strategic goals
- Content Creation: Conceptualize, write, and produce original and compelling content, including daily posts, captions, stories, videos, and creative campaigns
- Trend Awareness: Maintain ongoing awareness of trends and breaking news in women's health. You'll translate these into brand content, including immediate “news” level content, with the flexibility to pivot as needed
- Content Curation & Management: Curate user-generated content, identify appropriate reposts, and manage a well-organized content library
- Community Engagement: Oversee and deeply engage in community interactions, responding to DMs, comments, inquiries, and mentions with warmth and professionalism
- Performance Optimization: Leverage analytics, insights, and trend-spotting to continually optimize performance and growth
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Build relationships with partners and collaborators through IG collaborations, takeovers, IG Lives, events, and giveaways
What You Bring
We’re looking for a teammate who brings her own unique self, and also the following skills and qualities:
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience: 3–5 years in social media management and digital strategy with a preference for experience in women’s health and wellness
- Skills: Strong writing, research, and editing abilities (you detest typos and love evidence) with a keen eye for visual content creation
- Tools: Proficiency with Canva, “Edits”for video other platforms for social media editing. Ability to create and implement ManyChat funnels
